In June 2011, the fourth Ronald McDonald Family Room in Canada opened. Located on the second floor of the Moncton Hospital, the Ronald McDonald Family Room is right next to the Women’s and Children’s Health and Maternity Unit.
The 950-square-foot room has a kitchen, large living room and dining area, computers, shower, washroom and arts-and-crafts area. It’s open to all families who have children receiving pediatric or neo-natal care in the hospital, whether they are visiting day patients or those with children admitted to the hospital.
