Murray provides counsel to clients in the public and private sectors on structuring and implementing employee benefit plans and employee buyouts. In recent years, Murray has successfully represented employee groups in negotiating and completing employee led buyouts, including two paper mills and a small energy consulting company. He has been interviewed by CBC Radio, The Globe and Mail and The Financial Post and has spoken at numerous conferences on this and related topics.
Murray is active in the community, serving as a director on the boards of numerous companies as well as on the boards of charitable and community organizations, including Ronald McDonald House Charities Canada. He is also an active participant in the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association.
