Mario Iannuzzi
McDonald’s Canada Owner/Operator
Since December 3 2007, Mario Iannuzzi has been the proud owner/operator of four Sherbrooke McDonald’s restaurants located in the Eastern Townships area of Quebec.
Like many second-generation franchisees, Mario grew up in a McDonald’s, working with his father. In 1988, he moved to Ottawa to complete a degree in history and theory of architecture with a minor in Canadian business law. In 1995, he moved to Toronto for a second degree in Architecture from the University of Toronto.
Upon graduation in 2000, he relocated to Montreal to start his own design firm. On top of having completed many different types of commercial and residential projects, he has also worked as a design consultant on various McDonald’s stores both in Canada and in the U.S., but more specifically on a series of cutting-edge themes, such as the first McCafé in Canada. In 2005, he returned to his roots to work in the family business in Sherbrooke as a McDonald’s franchisee.
