Dr. Hilary Whyte
Neonatologist, Hospital for Sick Children
Dr. Hilary Whyte, MB, MSc, FRCPI FRCP(I) is a neonatologist at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, and an Associate Professor of Paediatrics at the University of Toronto. Her area of specific interest and expertise is in transport medicine, and she has worked as the Medical Director of the Neonatal Transport Team at SickKids Hospital for the last 12 years. In addition, Hilary’s research has focused on neonatal outcomes and in particular, the utility of neurophysiological assessments and neuroimaging to predict outcomes of high risk infants.
In 2004, Hilary was appointed to the Ontario Air Ambulance Program, ORNGE, to head up their Pediatric Specialization.
As Director of Acute Care Transport Services at SickKids Hospital and Pediatric Medical Director for ORNGE, she has both administrative and educational responsibilities in addition to her clinical work and research.
